EU Horizon 2020 - Biomass CCU

ALP Technologies was granted a 3 year scientific topic development funding from European Union Horizon 2020 program with 15 companies and universities in China, Australia, UK, Spain, Poland, and Hungary.  The multi-disciplinary consortium consisting of engineers, chemists, material scientists, physicists and mathematicians will work to advance biomass to energy technology by integrating CO2 capture and utilisation with multi functional catalyst materials.

This project brings together 16 world-class companies and academics in the field of thermo-chemical energy conversion of renewables.  It will involve 77 individual experts to validate and bring about a technology that will bring together carbon capture, energy storage, novel heat exchange approaches, chemical catalysts, and circular economy design.
