Innovate UK - Zero CHP Project

ALP Technologies was granted R&D funding from Innovate UK to advance the technology on our small-scale electricity generator that can incorporate agricultural waste and residue to be converted directly onsite.

A micro generator with li-ion battery with novel gas cleaning technology that uses agricultural waste for power generation.  This project aims to adapt our system to utilize a ‘right ratio’ of agricultural waste with standardized biomass fuel for consistent and trouble-free power generation. The focus on a small-scale module technology may provide small to medium sized farmers an affordable and scalable solution appropriate for their holding size and waste type, turning local waste to distributed onsite energy.
